John Michael Eddy joined the LSU School of Theatre team as Professional in Residence – Props in 2015 and holds a MFA in Theater Production and Design from Temple University along with a BFA in Theater Design/Technical Production from the University of Arizona, and is a standing member of the Board of Directors for Playmakers of Baton Rouge, Louisiana’s only professional theatre dedicated to bringing quality live theatrical productions to young audiences.
In addition to his prop work at Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre recent projects include Scenic Designs for Playmakers, and Scenic/Props Designer for the LSU School of Theater’s productions of Trouble in Mind and Nickel and Dimed, the Swine Palace production of Julius Caesar, the Philadelphia Fringe production of Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, and the Temple University world premiere of Odd Girl Out, a play based on the book by Rachel Simmons.
